What Would Your Life Be If You Determined Right Now To Try?

What Would Your Life Be If You Determined Right Now To Try?

“I want to do more with my life than just give up,” she replied. In that moment, my heart leaped in agreement. Yes! Me too! I want to unleash my dreams and realize them… all of them! I want to make an impact in this world and leave it better because I was part of it. What about you? Watch this video and let Mandy Harvey’s voice, her determination, and the words of her beautiful song inspire you today. She is amazing! But wait a minute… you are too! You are meant to make a difference in this world, and you’ve been given unique gifts, abilities, interests and passions that will lead you right to your purpose. Where in your life have you just given up? Imagine what you could accomplish if you decided to try again. Consider the fact that you are still here, breathing and moving on this earth, as proof that you have more in life to do. Think about it! What would life be if you had the courage to attempt anything? If you decided to try? If you can be a better version of yourself, who do you want to be? Complete this sentence: I want to be… I often remind my clients of the popular Yoda saying about how there is no TRY, you either do or you do not. But, in keeping with the theme of her inspiring song, I’ll ask you where in your life will you TRY AGAIN? What will you do to live more fearless, to leave a victorious path for others to follow, and to make the difference you are meant to...
Medicine Today Is Not Only Sick, It Is CRAZY!!!

Medicine Today Is Not Only Sick, It Is CRAZY!!!

This is a guest post written by Dr. Judy Cook, Psychiatrist and Pathologist Many people are under the mistaken assumption that American Healthcare is Number One in the world, but there is only ONE thing it ranks first in – COST!!! American Healthcare Is Sicker Than Most Other Countries You may have gotten some clues about that as you have seen all the news about Obamacare and how prices are rising for insurance in the HealthCare.gov marketplace – but that distracts you from seeing how much more it is rising in other private insurance markets – whether individual or through employers. You have probably seen the headlines about some drugs where the prices are suddenly jacked up outrageous amounts, but little is said about some of the outrageous prices for many others, much less the steadily increasing prices even for generic medications. You also are not likely to have seen much about what you can do about this for yourself. You have probably seen the news about epidemics like Ebola and Zika virus and all that is going into solving those problems, yet there are other “epidemics” that kill many more people each year and get neither media attention or funding – and only some of them are infectious diseases.  Some of them result from lack of attention to their presence or their prevention and treatment, some are due to a lack of enough providers, and some of them are actually a result of our healthcare system and the places it has gone awry. It Is Crazy Not To Take Care of Your Own Health There are many issues that need...

How to Make Your Most Heartfelt Dream Easier to Accomplish

How to Make Your Most Heartfelt Dream Easier to Accomplish

I am a Dream Coach. I have been coaching people to achieve their dreams for 20 years now. No, not the sleeping kind of dreams. I’m talking about the heartfelt kind; the aspirations, desires, goals, and hopes that you most want for yourself. These are dreams you have while you are very much awake. What are your dreams now? What matters most to you? Do you want to write a book, grow your part-time business, find a new career that you are passionate about? Do you want to make a bigger difference in the world by living your purpose or leaving a legacy? Whatever is in your heart that you long for is your dream. What are you passionate about creating or accomplishing? Pretend you’re not limited by money, time or the people around you and genuinely connect to your heartfelt desires. How to Make Achieving Your Dream Easy With This Proven Success Formula The formula for making your dreams come true is simple. First, get clear about what your dream is. Paint a vivid picture of what you want — a vision that excites you and compels you to move forward. Second, remove any obstacles in your way, especially your limiting beliefs because fear and doubt are usually the biggest obstacles blocking us. Third, design the simple steps to make it happen. Taking weekly action that moves you closer to what you want and following a blueprint for producing results will get you there sooner than you think. I know you’re probably thinking it can’t be that easy. But, that’s only because you’re thinking of doing it all yourself. I want to...
Playing It Safe Is Not Why You Are Here

Playing It Safe Is Not Why You Are Here

Are you lying on a nail? Odd question, right? Why would you or anyone for that matter be lying on a nail? I read the this story several years ago told by Les Brown, well-known motivational speaker. As you read it today, see if you can recognize yourself in the old couple’s dog. One day, a man walked past a house and saw a little old lady rocking in her chair, a little old man reading the paper as he rocked next to her, and a dog lying on the porch between the two, moaning as if he were in pain. As he passed, the man wondered silently what the dog was moaning about. The next day, he walked past the house again. He saw the old couple rocking in their chairs and the dog lying between them, making the same pained sound. Puzzled, the man promised himself that if the dog was still moaning the next day, he’d ask the old couple about it. On the third day, to his distress, he saw the same scene: the little old lady rocking, the little old man reading, and the dog in his spot, moaning piteously. He couldn’t stand it anymore. “Excuse me, ma’am,” he called out to the old woman, “what’s wrong with your dog?” “Oh, him?” she said. “He’s lying on a nail.” Confused by her reply, the man asked, “If he’s lying on a nail and it hurts, why doesn’t he just get up?” The little old lady smiled and said in a sweet, grandmotherly tone, “Well, honey, it hurts just enough for him to moan about it, but...
